Avery is 16 weeks old plus some days...

They really do grow up too fast. I get sad everytime he outgrows an outfit. He is still such a good baby and amazingly enough he LOVES to sleep (just like his Mama). He is drinking 8 oz at each feeding about every three hours during the day. He goes down to bed at night around 8pm then I wake him up for a feeding at 11pm then he sleeps until 8am more or less. Its awesome! When he wakes up for the day he first eats, then plays for about an hour then takes a morning nap for about 3 hours! Then he naps again for a couple of hours right after lunch then another nap in late afternoon/early evening.

When he is awake he is ACTIVE, ACTIVE, ACTIVE! He is constantly moving both his arms and legs and talking up a storm. He rolls over and just starting picking up things and putting them in his mouth. We go to his 4 month well baby visit next week and Dr. Karam is going to talk to us about starting cereal! So crazy but so exciting too! I love him more than ever and not a day passes that I dont thank God for bringing Avery into our lives.

Updating...finally!

Lots going on with us lately. First, Avery and I got a cold over the weekend which turned into an ear infection for my sweet baby boy. He was still so happy and smiling like crazy...his only symptom was a cough and thank GOD I took him into the doctor yesterday. Because he finally felt some pain in his ear yesterday afternoon. The poor thing scream his head off. We are lucky to have such a good natured and layed back baby so this was the first time we had ever seen him scream and cry really hard. It was so sad! He had Michael & I running all over the house like crazy people trying to make him feel better. We had to see a different doctor since Dr. Karam was booked but Dr. Cook was really nice. I think Avery liked her too! He giggled throughout the entire examination. She gave us some antibiotics which I am hoping make him feel all better real soon. He doesnt like the meds much but once we stuck it in this bottle nipple medicine thingy he sucked it right down. *Thanks to Amy for putting that nifty little thing on Avery's diaper cake...its pure genius!*

Last week we got our patio extended from a 10x10 to 20x10. It makes such a huge difference! Bama did manage to get paws prints tracked across it somehow...grr! I will take a pic soon. Now we need to start looking for plans for our patio cover. A family friend is going to build it for us. Its gonna be so nice!

So other than the patio, we bought 2 other really cool things. A Dyson DC14 and an the cutest ever Oi Oi Diaper Bag:

Oh and as always, I will leave you with a pic of my handsome wittle guy!

Avery Rolled Over!!!

12 weeks, 5 days old. According to the psycho moms on the babycenter forum, their babies have been rolling over since 6 weeks but me and Avery dont even care! I'm soo proud! I was cheering him on the whole way. I was getting so loud and excited that he would stop for a second and stare at me like I was crazy. ;)

Here he is.... the Master of Rolling Over:

I'm a Mean Mama!!

Yesterday Avery was using his new tummy time mat which he loved....for a little while. But after about 10 mins he started fussing which I just let him do. Then a couple of minutes later he started crying...like REALLY crying hard! It was the saddest thing ever! I of course ran over to console him and when I saw how sad he was I teared up. Man, I really have to toughen up or this little man is gonna walk all over me. ;)

Here are some pics from when he was enjoying his tummy mat:
