Mommy & Carrots vs. Avery ROUND 2
The other day Avery was eating his peaches which looked just like carrots so I thought, "hey, maybe now is a good time to try carrots again". After the first bite of carrots Avery started yelling "Na Na Na Na!!" and gagging. Then he started dry heaving until he threw all of the carrots up again. Once it came back out he managed to smear it all over his face. He is DRAMATIC! (Which Michael says he gets all from me...hehe)
After Avery won the carrot fight I decided to try and make it up to him with his very first big boy bath. He had a great time in the big tub but I have to admit, the baby tub is soo much easier. So for now, we will save the big boy baths for special days.

Memorial Day
Avery woke up excited about his first Memorial Day. =)
First stop was Michael's parents house so Michael could mess with his motorcycle (shocker I know!). So Avery decided to pose for a few photos in his swimsuit.
Silly face!
Avery had enough of the pics and tried to get away.
Then we went to my parent's house to cook out and swim.
Avery was just relaxing in his baby float. =)
But then the sun started getting in his eyes and he was kinda over it. Hehe!
We had a great Memorial Day with lots of fun family time, 2 swim parties, and too much yummy food! We were home and ready for bed by 7pm. Sun really will suck the energy out of ya! Days like today remind me of how blessed I am. I hope to have many more just like today. =)

Today was so nice so Avery and I played out in the backyard a little bit. He especially enjoyed watching Bama run around like a crazy dog!
