Favorite Childhood Book

I found my favorite book from when I was a child at B&N last week.
I remember being so nervous yet excited to see what would happen as my Mom and I turned the pages. Avery is gonna LOVE it! This is one of 3 books I bought him for Valentine's day. ;)

Avery loves taking walks...

Baby #2

*Disclaimer*
I'm not pregnant nor are we trying to get pregnant!

However, I just recieved a Babies R' Us ad in the mail and saw this AWESOME swing. I'm so getting this for baby #2...whenever that may be.

It's called the i-Glide Cradle and Swing.

This has also made my decision easier to sell Avery's swing which I am so emotionally attached to. He used the My Little Lamb Cradle & Swing. It was a really great swing. Avery loved his swing so much when he first came home that we went through batteries like crazy and all hell broke loose a few times when we had run out of batteries. So you'll be seeing this great swing at Divine Consign.

So in LOVE...

...with this sweet little guy.

Avery was watching a rain storm roll in and talking all about it.

Nap time

When Avery gets ready to lay down he will grab his "mimi" and head for his bed. Just like his Mama, this boy loves his sleep. =)

Do you see what I see??

CURLIES!!!
Avery's hair has slowly but surely been getting curlier and curlier. Its always super tight curls right when he gets out of the bath and then they loosen up after he sleeps on them.
I just think they are too cute!

Avery Update (little over 13 mos old)

-Avery spends 90% of his days walking from one end of the house to the other.

-Never sits still unless Sesame Street is on (Thank God for Elmo!)

-He loves eating and will try just about anything. Always wants what Mommy & Daddy have.

-Favorite foods: bananas, grapes, animal crackers, string cheese, gold fish, ravioli, peas

-He has learned how to drink out of a straw quite well and loves some apple juice boxes.

-When he isnt eating he usually has a bottle hanging from his mouth.

-Hates paci's but still has the urge to suck so thats where the bottle comes in.

-Started calling his "ba-ba" (bottle) a "ga-ga" this week.

-He claps and says "Yeah, yeah, yeah" while shaking his head yes when he sees us making him a bottle.

-Avery who didnt have a bad attitude at all for the first 12 mos of his life now has quite the attitude.

-He has attempted to bite Mommy a couple of times but usually will stop himself and shake his head "NO" before he does.

-He has 16 teeth and more coming in... hence the biting.

-Still takes a morning and afternoon nap but they are shorter now.

-Still sleeps from 7pm-8am (give or take) each night

-Wears a size 5 diaper and has for awhile.

-He knows where his nose and mouth are and will show you when you ask. =)

-Still loves bathtime but has started throwing any and all toys out of the bath each time so we have shortened his bathtime to avoid getting soaked.

-Avery can crawl up on the couch with the help of his PB Kids chair. This is the reason for all of the bumps and bruises lately.

-Baby signs: More, All Done, Eat, Milk

-Avery has a new laugh and its pretty funny. He fake laughs really loud...all the time.

-He LOVES all the toys in his playroom and knows where everything is. It's so cool to watch him go get a specific toy.

-Avery looks to be thinning out as he grows taller. (Maybe its all the walking around)

-He attempted to crawl out of his crib so it is now on the lowest level.

-Still has to have his aquarium and lullabies on when sleeping.

-When he gets tired he will go find his "mimi" (his blankie) and carry it around until I lay him down.

-He loves playing with Sophie and Bama. He always thinks they are chasing him...haha.

-Avery loves dancing to "Imma be" by the Black Eye Peas

-He has thrown a couple of fits where he lays on the floor and hits his head on the carpet. So sad!
-He is super smart and amazes me everyday. =)

Six lil' Stinkers

Ever wondered how many kids it takes to destroy a playroom?
Well just so you know, six bad little kids can get the job done pretty quickly. Actually, I'm pretty sure only 2 were the criminals in this case but if we would've let them play longer all 6 would have destroyed sweet JuJu's entire house. This is yet another reason why I love having sisters. When we have all the cousins together and they tear shit up we still love eachother's kids just the same. =)

*Please excuse my "man voice". I am just getting over a cold*
