Avery's First Vacation

Our little guy did so good on the 10 hour road trip. On the way there he slept since we drove at night, then on the way home he ate, ate, and ate. He was so happy the entire trip and all of Michael's relatives just LOVED him. We went crabbing alot at the bay near Michael's grandparents house, spent lots of time time with the family, ate a ton of yummy seafood and had lots of fun in the sun at the beach in Gulf Shores.

6 Months Well Baby Check-Up

Today Avery went to his 6 mos well baby visit at Wylie Pediatrics. We have been going to Dr. Richardson since Avery was 4 mos old but this was his first well visit with her. She is so sweet! She baby talks to him and he just loves it! He is right on target physically and seems to be a little ahead of the game when it comes his cognitive development (aka Smartest Baby in the World). Poor baby had to get one oral vaccine and three shots. Michael usually goes and holds him while he gets his shots but today it was Mama's job. And yes, I got a little teary-eyed. I can tell I am going to so be that mom who takes their kid to get ice cream after shots. He sniffled all the way home and it just broke my heart.
