Over the weekend my sisters and Mom threw me the most perfect "sprinkle" for Baby Ethan. My best friend in the whole world, Carla was sweet enough to fly in from Denver to celebrate with us. On Saturday morning, Avery and I got up early to go get Carla from the airport. Then we came home and got ready for the party. Michael and Avery headed to my in-laws for some football watching so we could have girl time. The "sprinkle" was absolutely perfect and way more than I ever expected or could hope for. My sisters and Mom went above and beyond as they usually do. We got TONS of stuff for Ethan and we are so very grateful! It was so nice spending time catching up with friends and family. After the shower, Michael and Avery came to my parents house. Avery played with cousins while Carla and my family sat in the backyard and chatted. It was a really nice day.
On Sunday Carla, Avery and I hung out, took lunch to my parents house, napped (haha!), went to Juli's house that evening and then to Mi Cocina for dinner.
On Monday, Carla and I dropped Avery off at school and had a girls day. We went to Starbucks, then to Northpark for some shopping, then to have sushi for lunch before Carla had to catch her flight. It was a perfect and relaxing day. I hardly ever have days like that so it was very much appreciated.
I feel so blessed.
