I think I gave birth to a 3 mos old...

I say this because Avery doesn't really like alot of things that infants should.

-He HATES being swaddled and has since we were in the hospital.

-I had to force him to take a paci. At first he would act so dramatic and gag when I gave it to him.

-He fights sleep. He never had a "sleepy baby" phase. Here it is almost 1:30pm and he has been awake since a little before 9:00am.

-He is WAY too alert. He will look you dead in the eyes and he never had that "crazy baby eyes" thing.

-He can hold his head up and look around for almost 10 secs.

Maybe he spent his infant stage in my belly and thats why he came out so big. He never wore newborn sized diapers and some of his 0-3 mos clothes are a little too snig for him. Haha! Even though he is quite different than most 4 week olds I know one thing...I LOVE this boy more than I ever imagined I could ever love anyone. (Even at 4am when he wants to just hang out with Mommy instead of sleep.)
