Lately, Avery's very favorite thing to play is "babies". He loves going over to his cousin's houses who have all of the pretend baby toys. We have even had to borrow the baby doll stroller that my mom has at her house for the weekend a few times. He loves being the daddy. When he is playing daddy, he is the protector. He makes sure the mommy and babies are safe at all times. It really is the sweetest thing to watch. Even though he is such a tough little guy who enjoys wrestling, sword fighting and super heros he has such a tender side. He is a very emotional boy but at the same time he will surprise me with his brave side too.
Today when we were leaving the park with sissy I overheard this conversation in the backseat...
