Meal Planning- Week 1

It's no secret that I love crockpot cooking. I cook in the crockpot everday but I have been awful about meal planning. So this week I am going to try to plan out a menu for the family ahead of time. I am also trying to make meals that I can freeze for us to use when Baby Ethan arrives.

Here are the meals I have chosen for this week.

Crockin' Pot Pie with salad

Kayla's Enchilada Casserole with salad

Cream Cheese Chicken with egg noodles and salad

Most Amazing Pork Chops Ever with mashed potatos and salad

Shopping list:

-Big bag of frozen chicken
-1 lb of ground turkey meat
-4 bone in/ thick cut pork chops

-1 container of butter (we are out)
-2 packages of reduced fat cream cheese
-1 medium sized lowfat sour cream
-1 large size of low fat cottage cheese
-1 package of shredded mozzarella
-1 package of shredded colby cheese
-1 can of flaky biscuits
-2 cans of cream of chicken soup
-1 can of mild red enchilada sauce
-1 can of sliced black olives
-Large container of chicken broth
-1 pacakage of italian dressing mix
-1 package of onion soup mix
-1 package of pork gravy mix
- chickin boulion cubes
-20 corn tortillas
- cumin seasoning
-1 package of egg noodles

-1 large bag of small red potatoes
-1 small white onion
-1 bag of frozen veggies (carrots, peas, corn)
-1 large bag of premade salad



Since its just 2 adults and one kid here, we will have tons of leftovers.
We will eat some on other nights and freeze some for later.
