Avery's got some moves!

Okay so here is the disclaimer for this video- No, I don't usually let Avery watch rap music videos. Yes, we do allow him to jump off of our side table onto the couch (it's entertaining for us!). No, my house isn't usually messy, well that messy. I think this was right after before Thanksgiving and I was cleaning out Avery's clothes... hence the boxes. Anyways, now that I don't feel like such a terrible mom... please enjoy!

Pediatric Pulmonologist Appt

Today we took Avery to a Pediatric Pulmonologist to check out his cough. Of course, today he had no cough whatsoever. But we loved meeting with Dr R and getting his opinion on why little Avery seems to cough so often. He said basically everything I already knew like- he develops this cough each time his allergies flare up and then it lingers for weeks. He agrees with our pediatrician and said that he needs to be on Pulmicort 2x daily as a preventative. Thank the Lord no more nebulizer though! Dr. R gave us an inhaler that is alot quicker than the nebulizer. We also were given an Albuterol inhaler as well for Avery to take when he is coughing/wheezing. In addition to the Pulmicort daily, we will use Nasonex nose spray to help with his allergies. The nurse came in and showed us how it all worked and Avery did great with both! I am hoping that this will help ease my little dude's reoccuring cough. So the official diagnosis is allergies and acute asthma... which we already knew but at least we got that confirmed. We go back to see Dr. R in 2 months.

Are you my Brother??

Avery has a ton of cousins and the majority of them have more than one sibling, so Avery has been very curious about sisters and brothers for a while now. He calls everyone his brother. This is a conversation we had recently.

Me: "We are going to dinner with Brody and his Mommy & Daddy tonight."

Avery: "Yay Brody!!! He's my brudder!"

Me: "Well, he's not your brother but he is a good friend."

Avery: (so mad) "YES HE IS MY BRUDDER!"

Poor Avery wants to know who HIS brother is.

He asks...

"is Lukey my brudder?"

"is Cameron my brudder?"

"is Gage my brudder?"

"is Tatum my brudder?"

"is (insert every friend/cousin he knows) my brudder?"

He even asked his daddy at dinner the other night...

"Are you my brudder, Daddy?"

As silly and sweet it is to hear him ask these questions all day everyday,

it's hard to tell him over and over,

"Babe you don't have a brother. Maybe one day though!"

2 months old already!!

Yesterday Avery had his 2 mos well baby doctor's appointment. The doctor said he looked great! I HATE that he had to get 3 shots. He cried so hard and even had tears running down his sweet little cheeks. I get a little teary-eyed every time I see him cry to the point of tears. Luckily I have only seen him do that twice. I guess I need to toughen up a little bit. I will leave you with his stats and some pics of my sweetness.

Weight- 12 lbs 15 oz (90%)
Length- 23.5 inches (75%)
Head- 16.5 inches (95%)

Avery was waiting patiently for the twins to arrive.

Baby Bedding

Why is it so hard for me to make a decision on which baby bedding to buy? I seriously stress out about it and I even dreamt about crib bedding last night. I guess I am the typical preggo when it comes to things like this. I feel like this is the most important decision in the world. I think, if I use light colors the room will be caliming but then the baby wont have all of the bold colors to stimulate his mind. But then, if I use stimulating colors then the baby wont be able to relax and be calm in his room. Oh Lord, I know it sounds so silly but its soooo hard!!!! Haha!
