Since my days are spent taming a wild toddler, I really miss getting together with friends. It isnt very often when I can get away for dinner or drinks with my girls due to Avery's 7pm bedtime and my hard-working husband (I appreciate both very much but that is beside the point). A couple of weeks ago a neighbor put a Pampered Chef catalog on my doorstep.
I was so excited because I have never been to a PC party.
I contacted Brooke (
www.pamperedchef.biz/brookethecook) to schedule a party. What a great excuse for a girls night! I was able to meet Brooke plus a couple of other sweet girls from my neighborhood. We had a wonderful turn out and I may or may not have had one too many glasses of wine. =) We made Jalapeno Pizza Poppers and Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch Bars which both turned out so yummy!
All of you working moms should appreciate the adult time you get each day. I dont get a whole lot of adult conversation during the day. Avery and I talk mostly about "apple-ju" and "dog-dogs". That is the reason why I decided to sell Scentsy (http://www.laurin.scentsy.us/). I love having an excuse to get together with friends and meet new people. Scentsy has been such a blessing. I have reconnected with so many people from my past and made alot of new friends because of it.
If you are a stay-at-home-mom like myself you should think about being a consultant for a direct selling company. I know many people who have had alot of success due to companies like these. I of course, think Scentsy is the BEST! And its definitely so easy to sell a product that you truly love.
